From Patients:

  • Health card information and address confirmation
  • Files or notes shared during consultations

From Healthcare Providers:

  • Name, business contact details, availability, specialization

Your personal and personal health information is collected for the purpose of:

  • Facilitating virtual medical consultations
  • Coordinating care and services
  • Providing prescriptions, referrals, or diagnostic requisitions
  • Following up on medical care as needed

SignatureRx will never use your information for purposes outside those outlined above without your explicit consent.

4. Consent

Physical:

  • No personal health data is stored on-site; all data is securely hosted by Telus in authorized Canadian facilities
  • Access is restricted and monitored

Technological:

  • Data is encrypted using AES 128-bit encryption during transmission
  • Information is stored on secure servers provided by Telus and AWS in Canada
  • Audit trails track access and are reviewed regularly

Administrative:

  • Our Chief Privacy and Security Officer oversees compliance
  • Staff and contractors are trained in privacy protocols
  • Regular risk assessments and audits are conducted

6. Data Retention and Destruction

We retain personal health information only as long as necessary to provide services. Upon user request, we will destroy or anonymize data in accordance with legal standards.
